TISCOR’s Annual Medical User Group Meeting a Success
Poway, Calif., April 23, 2008— TISCOR’s MediMizer customers recently convened for two days in San Diego, CA, for their annual medical user group conference. The event brings together biomedical technicians from across the nation for educational sessions and peer networking.
"This conference provides an opportunity for interactive communication among our clients as well as with the TISCOR team. It allows our customers to learn more about the MediMizer product, as well as participate in developing our roadmap for the future of the product," said Lucia Morales, director of marketing at TISCOR. "It also encourages networking with counterparts from like organizations that share similar successes and challenges."
Among the many highlights of the conference was the introduction of a web-based version of TISCOR’s iRequestManager, a program used in medical facilities to generate automated work requests. TISCOR also presented Customer of the Year awards to Andrew Rich from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Colt Rhoads from United Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA. “I see my relationship with TISCOR as a partnership. We work together to ensure that the product moves forward and meets the needs of the biomedical community”, said Mr. Rhoads. Additionally, TISCOR hosted guest speakers from Intermec and IDenticard, providing information on complimentary products and services for the medical market.
TISCOR also hosted vendor presentations and a lunchtime vendor show, providing the customers with information on other complimentary products that can be used within their facilities. Presenters and exhibitors included representatives from Brady®, IDenticard, Motorola®, and Intermec.
