TISCOR Hosts Medical User Group Meeting

2006 Press Releases

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 26, 2006-On October 23–24, TISCOR hosted fifty of its medical product customers in San Diego at their annual Medical User Group Meeting. The User Group Meeting brings together biomedical professionals from around the county who use TISCOR’s software to schedule, track and document inspections on the medical equipment within a hospital or medical facility. The event is designed to update users on new product developments and promote the sharing of ideas, experiences and knowledge. TISCOR’s medical customers have always been involved in the development of their product and provide valuable information that assists TISCOR in developing the product roadmap. Planned by TISCOR’s Marketing Department, the meeting included presentations from Tuhin Ghosh, software development manager; Jeff Clark, lead programmer; and Mark Woodruff, senior trainer. A main focus of the meeting was to introduce the next version of TISCOR’s medical product, Medi-Mizer X3, which is scheduled for release in Q3. The new release moves the product from a FoxPro database to a Microsoft® SQL Server environment. It also incorporates new Pocket PC hand-held devices and enhanced features that will increase productivity. The new product was well received by the customers. "We showed that Medi-Mizer X3 incorporates features and enhancements that the customers have requested", said Gus Sakis, TISCOR’s Director of Sales. "Customers were excited and we were able to use our time with them every effectively." Customers also felt that the trip to San Diego was time well spent. Colt Rhoads, Biomedical Engineering Manager at Western Medical Center said, "It's rare to see a company treat its customer so well and truly care about where we, the customer, want the program to go".

TISCOR also hosted a lunchtime vendor show, providing the customers with information on other products that can be used within their medical facility. Exhibitors included Brady®, Symbol® and Intermec.

TISCOR’s next user group meeting is scheduled for February 2007 and will host customers using the fire equipment inspection software.
