TISCOR Hosts User Group Meeting
Annual Meeting Introduces New Web-based Inspection Software
San Diego, CA, October 11, 2010— TISCOR is pleased to announce the close of its annual InspectNTrack Users Group Conference, held in San Diego, CA. Attendees were treated to two days of new product introductions, user presentations, and feedback roundtable sessions. Attendees had an opportunity to communicate and learn from each other's experiences and interact directly with TISCOR developers, product managers, technical support specialist and account managers.
The conference kicked off with an outing on an open air amphibious bus that provided a land tour of San Diego, and then ventured into the bay for look at Point Loma and the Naval Air Station at North Island. It was a wonderful opportunity for the TISCOR team and 45 customers to get to know each other in a casual setting.
The main focus of the conference was the introduction of InspectNTrack Premium, TISCOR's newest web-based inspection management software. "Last year when we discussed a web-based product, we received a lukewarm reaction from the customers", said Terry Freund, TISCOR product manager. "They just weren't ready to venture into the SaaS world. This year was significantly different. At least 85% of the attendees now see SaaS applications as the way to go. We are very pleased with the positive feedback we received."
Customers in attendance came from companies such as Boeing, Dow, Disneyland, Lockheed Martin, Media General, NBC Universal, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Two users gave presentations on their use of the product. David Brown from United States Enrichment Corporation provided an overview of his positive experience in upgrading from the on-premise FacilityManager system to the web-based InspectNTrack product. Clayton Bronson from Cornell University gave a presentation on how he has expanded the use of the product from only fire extinguisher inspections to a much more comprehensive list of equipment and checkpoints.
TISCOR also invited several preferred vendors to exhibit during the user group, giving the customers an opportunity to view the newest hand-held device technology, as well as see other complimentary products that can be used within their facilities. Vendors included Shop Direct Brands, Intermec, Honeywell, BlueStar, and Ingram-Micro.
