TISCOR Releases Enhanced TourWatch XT Software

SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 8, 2011—TISCOR,a pre-eminent leader in inspection management software, today announced the release of a further enhanced version of its TourWatch XT guard tour management software. TourWatch XT, which uses hand-held computers in conjunction with touch-tag or bar-code technology, accurately tracks and records locations, incidents, dates and times associated with security officers’ site tours.

TourWatch XT now supports Windows 7 and Vista platforms (64-bit and 32-bit versions) and continues to support Windows XP and Windows 2000. Both Windows 7 and Vista require SQL server and/or SQL Express for Pocket PC device users. The new release also allows the Pocket PC Sync Server configuration to use Hostname. The Sync Server allows the Pocket PC devices to communicate with the TourWatch XT database. Previously the Pocket PC could only be configured using the IP address of the Sync Server. If the IP address of the computer Hosting Sync Server changed, it was necessary to re-configure all of the Pocket PC's . Using the Hostname instead of IP address eliminates the need for re-configuration.

TourWatch XT also supports several new hand-held devices, offering flexibility in choosing a device that best fits a facilities needs. TourWatch XT is now certified with the following devices:

• Honeywell Dolphin 7600
• Honeywell Dolphin 9700
• Intermec’s CN60
